In this first component of your course project, from the list below, select a problem related to diversity, ethics, and cultural competency that public service organizations might face. Then, describe the problem and provide information from organizational, team, and individual perspectives. Identify the concepts of collaborative and communication techniques that affect the development of relationships, partnerships, and alliances within an organization.

Once you’ve chosen a topic, develop an analysis of the problem based on current and relevant scholarly sources. In your analysis, investigate the circumstances surrounding the problem and its implications for public service organizations. Apply critical-thinking skills to provide a comprehensive discussion and analysis of the selected problem. Consider assumptions about the problem, evidence of its existence, and its effect on relationships, partnerships, and alliances within an organization. Clearly delineate the problem as it relates to the different groups that it affects. Discuss the problem within the context of scholarly literature and research as it relates to public service organizations.
